Dr. George Stretch, D.N., L.Ac., D.A.A.P.M., D.N.B.A.O.

 
Dr. George Stretch is currently a member in good standing with the American Naprapathic and American Academy of Pain Management Association.  He is National Board Certified and also holds a diplomate with the American Academy of Pain Management, a member of the Sports Acupuncture Association, Electro Therapy Assocation, the North American Cervicogenic Headache Society and a recommeded provider of the Fibromyalgia Network.  Dr. Stretch is not only a licensed Doctor of Naprapathy, but is also a licensed Acupuncturist.  Dr. Stretch's third National Board Certification in Acupuncture / Orthopedics was obtained at Cedar'Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California. 

On August 26, 2004, Dr. Stretch has successfully completed one of his vision of "Pioneering Naprapathy" into the 21st Century by being the "first" Naprapath to be on staff at a hospital, which is Saint Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL.

As of April of 2005, Dr. Stretch has successfully completed the second part of his vision in being the "first" Acupuncturist on staff at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Dr. Stretch was the President of the American Naprapathic Association from 1999 to 2008.  Dr. Stretch taught as an instructor / mentor at the Chicago National College of Naprapathy (Accessory Techniques and Therapeutics, Clinical Orthopedic and Neurological Evaluation) for fifteen years.  Dr. Stretch also sat on the board of the Chicago National College of Naprapathy as a director for ten years. 

Dr. Stretch teaches as an instructor / mentor at the the University of Health Science (Lombard Chiropractic College) in Lombard ,IL.  He also sits on the facility board.

Dr. Stretch is the team doctor for A.A.U. (Amateur Athletic Union) sanctioned Elgin Sharks Track Club.  Dr. Stretch is the founder of 'Team Naprapathy' for the American Naprapathic Assocation's Sports Medicine Team.  Dr. Stretch also does yearly public speaking for disease foundations, such as, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and Fibromyalgia Network. 

Dr. George Stretch received his education and training at Wright College (A.A.), Chicago National College of Naprapathy (D.N.),  American Academy of Pain Management (D.A.A.P.M.) and the Midwest Center for the Study of Oriental Medicine (L.Ac.).  He had an internship, residency in Acupuncture with the Department of Anesthesiology at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois; performing acupuncture at the Outpatient Pain Clinic.  He keeps current with the continuing education on a yearly basis by attending the American Naprapathic Association Convention and other Associations that he is a member with. 

Dr. Stretch has written 'Naprapathic Protocol and Standard of Care Manual' and has written for the Journal of the American Naprapathic Association.  Dr. Stretch is also currently writing a manual for orthopedics.   Dr. Stretch also conducts hands on workshop for Naprapaths such as "Practice Solution Seminars" and "Differential Diagnosis Continuing Education Seminars".  

Dr. Stretch is the founder of the "Post Graduate School of Naprapathic Medicine".
